What kind of cage for RETF?

mstgcobra Jul 28, 2010 01:00 PM

Going to Daytona and decided to get to trio. Have read two books who mention different cages, but don't say which is better. I do not want a complete terrarium with a false bottum, it looks like too much maintence to me. I already have a pothos plant and am letting it sit out to rinse all the pesticides and herbicides off. I am trying to decide between a glass aquarium and a screen cage that is more verticle.
Any ideas?
Thanks to everyone for looking.

I would recommend a glass tank with screen lid. This will help keep the humidity up, but still have good ventilation. The tanks that I specifically love are the Exo-Terras. These are also great for glass-sticking herps lol. If the frog is sticking to one door, you open the other without risking the frog getting loose. They're also easy to access the frogs and everything else inside. For a trio, the 18x18x24 is a good size.
