Those are some nice, solid, orange babies Maria.....

Amazingly that was what everyone wanted in a thayeri a few years ago.......I still like them........

I agree, John. I used to get bored when I looked at these bright orange thayeri....they reminded me of corn snakes.
However...an exceptionally bright orange thayeri from the best lines is something to behold. Although I prefer more wild-type coloration, I can't pretend that these guys don't draw me in and bewitch me. I guess it's just the power of the orange Tang..........or of my hubby who tells me I must keep all the bright orange ones!

Those orange ones are what drew me into thayeri.......
Then it was the yellow ones.......I love seeing pics of Mike Bodner's yellow thayeri........
When I was out of the loop for a few years the "wild-type" look came back into being.....I like them alot myself, but still am amazed at the new aberrants popping up.......

Maybe eventually we will see another true amel thayeri....Now that there is no new blood and we are breeding from the same stock for about 30 years now.......

BTW....Glad to see the forum going again....
As long as no one brings up that "P" word again I think all is fine......LOL
We are stuck with what we got.......

Thank you all for the comments on the clutch. I meant the "orange Tang" comment to be an innocent one, so can we keep the crude, sexest comments off the forums..there are women present, gentleman.

I just realized that this sounded a bit preachy...didn't mean it to . I have a pretty crude sense of humor, but I'm sure some people don't.

Very nice Maria. Glad to see that the orange female has held her colors quite nicely. BTW, I saw that the knoblochi you got from me produced some eggs as well. Hope to see what pop out of that pairing as well as subsequent generations so far have produced nicer ones in my collection.
