New pic of male silver eastern

Boxienuts Jul 30, 2010 01:00 AM

this is one of if not the coolest morphs in my collection in my oppinion, and they are also quite rare. I have a pretty good sized group from 09 so hopefully will produce a decent number of them next spring. This is a photo of my male silver, clearly this morph reduces all pigments xanthins, erythrins, and melanin. Notice even the tongue is a transparent silver/purple gray. This is one of the most purple snakes of all snake species. I plan to cross the silver with the erythristic and flame albinos.

The silvers are definitely sweet looking, maybe one day there will be more of them out there so other people can have them too, lol.

Yah I here you, I personally can't wait to outcross to increase their vigor and also create new designer combos with other morphs, and share with other people so they can take on some of that enormous work, but hey all this takes time and patience, something I don't have a lot of, but have to try, but at least I'm being honest.

Great shot ! Forgot to mention the eye color of this morph, deep reddish/pink, very weird mutation for sure !

Nice ! Is it me or do these looks a lot like a lavender corn ??

boxienuts Aug 12, 2010 03:08 PM

I used to have lavender corns, and i would very much agree with you, however the silver is more translucent or transparent and doesn't gray/brown out at all with age.
