Jlassiter Aug 04, 2010 08:48 PM

I would be crazy not to try this project......
I wonder if there is a fully striped Mex Mex on the horizon????

What are your opinions?

Take a closer look Maria.....
There are three (1.2) Mex Mex in the pics.....

The cool thing is their genetics....
The first one pictured was produced by Ryan Hoyer.....
It is a female from a Black X Granite pairing.....
The second one pictured was produced by Shannon Brown and Karl at Boneyard Reptiles......It is a female as well and is from the Hypoerythristic line......
The last two pics are of the male sibling to the Hypo-E line female above it.........

It's definitely going to be interesting in the next few years for Mex Mex......

Yes, of course

Fantastic genetics to go along with those looong nuchal stripes. How old are those three?

I've got a mature male that has a pretty long stripe. I sure would like to pair him with a female that you produce someday!

These are all 2009s but may go next year.........
I have a slew of 09s but only some will be large enough for breeding......In 2012 they all will be breeding......That seems so long away, but the years are going by faster now....lol

A friend of mine produced a fully stripped one over 10 years ago. He passed away in the late 90's after that his collection was sold and is forever lost. I have a friend who took pics of the animal. I emailed him to see if he still has the pic. If he does I'll see if he will let me post it.

Thanks!!
Bobby

I may have just received that pic a few nights ago from Mr. Hansen........The striped mex mex in the picture I have doesn't appear to be what I imagined....I imagine an open nuchal the length of the snake's dorsum.........The one in the picture has a mostly red stripe with some speckling in it....The laterals on the snake are speckled too........

Was the photographer Briggs?

If you can get permission from Pat.....Post it.....
I would love for everyone to see it......

I was told one of two breeders could have produced it?
Lemke or Cochran.......Do you know who actually produced it?

Thanks Bobby......

I got permission from the photographer to post this picture. Here is the striped Mex Mex that a friend of mine produced over ten years ago. Like I mentioned in previous post he passed away in the late 90's and his collection was sold. I have no idea where the snake ended up.
