Lateral Striped Thayeri?

waspinator421 Aug 05, 2010 02:16 PM

Has anyone ever seen a Thayeri with a lateral stripe in it's base color? I didn't notice this guy until I was photographing snakes yesterday.... it just looks weird!

I have a greenish yellow thayeri that has developed discernable lateral striping, but with a dorsal stripe included - sort of what happens with some rat snakes. I'll try to post a picture . . . below is a picture of what he looked like as a hatchling.
