Sudden Death Syndrome

df92484 Aug 05, 2010 11:36 PM

Hey Everybody,

I had an interesting scenario occure today. Three of my four red eyed tree frogs suddenly dropped dead in their cage! All of them were healthy and eating like wolves three days ago. The fourth still seems healthy and happy. Everything in the cage seemed fine, humidity was good, temp good, clean water. I can't explain it, the only thing that the three dead frogs had in common was they were all male, the fourth was a larger female. I checked their bodies and I could find no external marks or indications of injury. But then again, all four frogs have been living together for over a year. Any ideas would be helpful?

Any chance the cage was moved just prior to the event?
