I have read through all the forum posts on this species and I love all the info. It's very helpful. I do wonder, do you find this species dehydratges quickly? How often does everyone mist them. I have been told to rain on them all day. What does everyone else do? Also, I saw the incubation temps, but what about the media mix - ex. 1:1 (vermiculite to water). Or do you use a humidity %? I have an incubator that i can set the humidity, but i have also done closed units.

yes this specie is easy to dehydrate, but in a well design cage this should not happen.

my best cages for any lizards ar 45gal plastic barils, in them you can put a good foot of dirt-sand mix a few plants and never have a need to wary about hydration unless you have too much ventilation or heat?

a simple ordinary 25w bulb is all your lizard will ever need, a dosen 3.8 holes is plenty vent. in these lizards feel safe and do well.

dont water your lizards its a stress

Thanks! What about your incubation humidity?
