Picked these two females up at a local petstore. The saddles are the closest to true black that I've ever seen on a normal phase kenyan. This pic compares them to my "mystery" guy.

In the first picture, I just assumed it was a stuck shed.. That is wild

I wouldn't consider them melanistic, but they are cool. I really like your mystery snake. I hope that proves out to be something genetic.
