Your opinion on an issue with a Green.

I wanted to get some opinions from the experienced breeders. I have a Green female in my little anaconda project here that I acquired in December of 2008. I was told she was a year old and she was around three feet long with good weight. Everything looked good and in proportion then. In the almost two years I have had her she has grown to around five feet. She is a fabulous feeder and is completely tame, having never even hinted at nipping since day one.

The issue is she has the small eyes thing going on. As she has grown, her eyes have not grown in proportion to the rest of her. Her eyes are of equal size, just smaller than normal when compared to the other Greens I have. I am concerned about how big of an issue this really is. I am mainly wanting to breed for docility and this snake is just absolutely awesome in that department so I hate not to hang on to her. However, if this trait is problematic and is going to be real prevelant in her young, it's obviously not something I want to duplicate. So let's hear your thoughts please. Is this defect enough to pull her from my project or not something I should worry about? Thanks!

DJ,
I think a lot would depend on the degree of the eye issue as far as whether it would be an inheritance issue in my opinion. Is it possible to post a photo? Thanks,

Kelly
