New Bloodline--Mandarin Ratsnakes

herby07 Aug 12, 2010 06:01 PM

This is the 2nd clutch ever from a CH female that is stunning. She is completely gray with zero red tipping. The sire is from Rex Knight and a joint project between myself a good friend. I don't have any current pics of the pair. I went to place more eggs from a different project into the incubator and saw these 7 beauties staring back at me. I'm very pleased and can't wait until they shed. I hope they evolve their vibrant colors like their siblings of a few years ago. I have a few more cooking with some varying bloodlines. I hope everyone is having a tremendous year.

Thanks for looking

not Vietnamese that I know. I have a pair of Viets from an overseas breeder and these appear slightly different. The female was one of 1.3 CH animals that I purchased a long time ago. I got a "sister" (only say sister because it came in the same group) but she is more heavily tipped and looks very different. 1.1 have since moved on due to an error by the city and pesticides (long story).

If I find some time, I'll do a large mandarin post of my animals and origins as well as dam/sire shots.

Thanks!

I really like low red mandarins. Mine are pretty low in red but the babies have some tipping in them.

Love Vietnamese mandarins, good luck with that pair!
