Been out of the tegu game for a few years now, but finally done with college! I had gotten all mine from Bert, but I know he is no longer around. Who is the best breeders for tegus now? And all of them? Am interested in the albinos as well
Thanks

Best tegu breeder around today would be Bobby of Varnyard herps. He runs the site tegutalk.com. He breeds B&W, Giants, red and his famous all american tegu cross (giantxredxblue) all are very nice tegus and his are tame by nature.
As for blue (which is where the albinos come from). No big players on the market really. Just small breeders who have a few every now and then. Albino wise i've only seen one place sell them year after year and that undergroundreptiles. They advertise on here quite often and they'll have a new posting when the little guys hatch. Just a warning on albinos, becuase they need UV lighting and there is no pigment in the eyes and what not some albinos will have eye problems as the age.
Thanks for the info, i'll check him out.
