BTS choking?

DiamondFlame10 Aug 18, 2010 01:09 PM

It seems like whenever I give my BTS superworms, he chows them down. When I stop, he opens his mouth and often coughs one up, except today when one crawled out of his throat (gross). is there anyway to get him to stop doing that? I'm scared he's going to choke and he won't be able to fix it.

thanks

I never had any problems with my BTS eating superworms...however if he gobbled them up fast, sometimes one will managed to bite him before he can kill it. I suggest you feed only a couple at a time. How old is your BTS? If its just a baby, it may be better to just offer silkworms instead.

He's about a year old. Today he didn't have any problems... The local reptile store suggested superworms because of his size. He's just a fathead.
