right now if you look at the slideshow for daytona beach, its the black armored looking one in the cage with the pricetag of 6,500$. ive never seen one like that and im going crazy trying to figure out what it is! any help would be awesome.

I think lizard you're reffering to is a shingle back skink from Australia!

I ended up finding it on my own a couple of days later, and yes it is the shingleback skink. It is by far one of the coolest looking lizards ive seen.
