I took in this Uro about a year ago from a local animal control. I was told he is an Egyptian. He was 133g. when I got him and gained to the 190's quickly over about 2 months. He really hasn't gained since then. I am following husbandry and food recommended on Deer Fern Farms site. I would have thought he would continue growing, he seems small for any species. Is he an Egyptian? Any Advise?

The picture below is when he is warm and shows a pattern. The bulk of the time he looks solid black.

Hi!
Just to confirm it's specie, please give us the total length, the snout-to-vent length, the number of whorls of the tails, and check how many ventral scale there is on the tail for one dorsal scale (or take a clear picture of the underside of the tail). With those infos, I'll be able to tell you

Uromastyx aegyptius aegyptius

Unlike other fast growing lizards, uromastyx grow relatively slowly. Mine took about 6 years to reach his adult size of 18" tol. But during those 6 years, he grew in spurts and at times didn't grow much at all for several months at a time. It seems like he had his greatest growth spurts in late spring. As I recall, when he turned about 8 years old, he had a big growth spurt. btw, looks to be aegyptica aegyptica, but given the occelations on his back, he could be microlepis. Either way, he's going to be a big fella.

Just read what I'd said and realized I should clarify something. I got my egyptian from Deer Fern Farms when he was about 2 years old (and 10" long), so from that point on for the next 6 years, he grew an additional 8".
