Help with Pyxies

Csharp Aug 24, 2010 01:47 AM

At last years Anaheim reptile show, I purchased what I thought was a female pyxie(based on size and color, and that's what I was told). Recently I picked up another "female" from a local pet store and put "her" in with my original "female". The original pyxie started croaking about 10 minutes later, and when I went in to check on them, the original frog was trying to amplex(proper use?) with the one I bought locally(kinda funny as the original frog is smaller). Long story short, I'd like to know if anyone can help me determine gender based on the pics below, and also help with determining species. I've looked a lots of pictures and I think they are both adspersus, but I may be wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.
