One of my favorite animals, a female Sonoran whipsnake collected as a hatchling. Still had her umbilical scar. Ate anoles for a year then switched to live mice after hibernation. Currently in training to take defrosted off forceps. Simple strategy--she eats about every five days if she gets live small mice delivered to the edge of her hiding bark. I make her wait about ten days and she's ready to eat her water dish--she takes defrosted off forceps OK. Still not too sure about the forceps but she'll come around. Great snake, really pretty and tons of individuality.
