Here's The Mangler at rest--a rare moment. Color is way off due to me not knowing how to compensate for a yellow basking light. Well-fleshed snake about three feet long, a two-year old.

Next shot, The Mangler...mangling--what he does best. He eats so enthusiastically that he balls the mouse up in his mouth, dragging on its skin, and it becomes harder to swallow. What was I saying about how intelligent racers are?

Wow, I love your collection...you basically have all the same stuff that I keep. No racers in my collection at the moment, but that may have to change, some of these Kansas flaviventrus are pretty stunning.
