I am looking for feedback on gloves "YOU" have used and taken bites with from both adult and juvi beadeds or gilas. Reason I am asking is a friend recently took a bite from an adult rio and it actually penetrated and tore a pair of heavy duty leather gloves and envenomated him via a cut on the hand..this has made me reconsider the welding gloves I currently use and possibly look for something better reinforced than what I have. ~always,better safe than sorry

I have never taken a bite (I use regular thick leather gloves). If you want something that offers more protections I would check out:
