I live in Maine and i guess iguanas are illegal now i found out. Im curious as to how i obtain a permit so i can take my ig to the vets regularly.

When did you find this out? Can you send the document for this? Did you acquire your iguana before this rule? Is it statewide or just in your area? If this has been enforced before you got your iguana, I think your iguana can be in trouble of being confiscated... You may want to find a shelter for him or her with a rescue or something until you get this sorted out.
