I know this question is a little worn out but what do you think??

The pics are a little dark but they look to both be males to me. if the shells have a dip in the belly that is a good indication of a male and a females tail is very short and stubby.

Thanks that's what I thought but the larger one was sold to me as a female and they were both showing male to me.
The smaller one tries to breed with the other (nipping at base of shell and head) causing bruises. Any tips? Should I seperate them? Can/will they hurt each other or am I being overly cautious?
Thanks
I would seperate them. Ive heard of storys of males causing substancial injuries to one another. It will only get worse as time goes by. Ive tried to house adult males together and gone outside and seen them flipped over in the Texas heat. Its just not fair to the losing tort to be stressed like that.
