spotted green iguana

reaperreptiles09 Sep 05, 2010 06:21 PM

I recently adopted a green iguana, I've owned iguana before and have never seen one like this before. He has green on his body and under his belly along with the black stripes. But he has black spots all over, not little fleckles of black but full patterns much like a tegu. His arms legs and tail are orange and he has blue and silver flecks throughout his entire body. He also has some large red spots on his arms? Has anyone ever seen a color variation like this before? He is 4 ft. Long and a male just to clarify?

All the pictures of him are in the link I attached below, its my facebook page, you can just scroll right through the pics of him. Think the growth on his dewlap is a calcium deposit, previous owners said he's had it for a while but never caused any problems. He's going to the vet next month just to be sure though. Tell me what you think about his colors and spots. Thanks.
