What is it about this cross that you think would be appealing?
In this case it seems there would be no advantage to the cross over the pure version of either species.

Was just curious because of the hybrids I've seen in the classifieds and on the forum here. Didnt figure it would hurt to ask since the "What if" factor is how a lot of the hybrids available today, are because someone thought "what if"
Both snakes are large and attractive-and the color change of the black milk is interesting. Somethings I like original and some things I like to mix it up and that pertains to far more than snakes---Hope that doesnt offend anyone.
A member of my herp society was thinking about pairing a black milk with a speckled king. Not sure what he was hoping to accomplish and he decided against it. I dont think the mix would work as you would not be augmenting traits of either snake especially if the ontonogenic color change of the black milk takes over. Just produce a large nondescript snake probably.
The florida might reduce the amount of melanin and result in a sorta speckled appearance. Might actually be quite interesting looking. If you do it I would suggest using a t-pos albino florida or a hypo Brook's king, instead of a regular floridana, as the effect would potentially be more dramatic. Hybrids aren't something I would choose to do but IMHO cool looking ones are better because they have more appeal, thus less likely to result in people "dumping" them as pure subspecies. Are Black Milks imported anymore? That might be something to factor in when deciding whether or not to persue a hybrid project.
