>>John, great animals, you ever wonder about the difference in the ventral patterns of you pyro's. I have found this year that ventral patterns are quite interesting especially in my L.p.knblochi. Some ventrals all white, some all black and red and then intermediate. Thoughts?
This is the only observation I have noticed without going and checking them all out.......
I have found that the the lack of black on the ventrals correlates to the reduced or lack of black on the dorsal pattern.....
Some of the aberrant thayeri have solid white ventrals.......We believe these to be the ones that are genetic and not just anomaly flukes.........
