How often will Leopard lay eggs?

BenA Sep 22, 2010 02:32 PM

I have a general question for anyone out there with experience. My female Pardalis Pardalis Leopard laid her first clutch of 6 eggs in mid August and then she laid her second clutch of 7 eggs last week (5 weeks after the first clutch). From those of you with experience with Leopard breeding, how often should I expect her to lay eggs?

Thanks very much,

Ben

zero to once every 30 days for 9 months is my max.

Thanks EJ,

I was expecting larger clutch sizes and was wondering if I SHOULD or should not expect more eggs per clutch - is she just getting warmed-up?, or maybe she is just a 6-7 egg kind of gal? Any thoughts? How many eggs do you get?

She is 7 1/2 years old and 25 pounds.

Very exciting stuff,

Ben

Hi EJ,

I would still be interested in hearing about how many eggs you are getting per clutch?

Again, you asked my torts length and she is 16 1/2" straightline.

Thanks,

Ben

I've gotten anywhere from 6 to 20... depending on the tortoise size and the size of the eggs.
