eyelash STILL off food

po Sep 26, 2010 11:34 AM

so its been almost 4 months now, she is still not eating, hasn't lost any weight, still active, I have seen her drink. If this was one of the balls or my corns I wouldn't be worried, but like I said in my other post she is my first and only hot!

What size is the snake? Are you sure it is a female?

Yeah sounds a lot like typical male behavior for the up coming winter. Either way, as you know...
no weight loss and acting normal and healthy = no need to worry

thanks guys!
my best guess of length is 18", never have been able to train a snake to stretch out on command
don't know sex for sure, was told by the breeder it was likely a girl due to the size of head compared to clutch mates, but looking at tail now looks long, could be a boy, didn't know they had a habit of going off food, makes me feel better, usually not one to worry after all these years Iv'e seen a lot, but like I said, my only hot!

Try soaking it in about 2" of water in a bucket. Let it "swim" for about an hour. It may be impacted.
