Went to NARBC in Tinley Park this weekend. We had a great time!
I lucked out and found a 3-toe box turtle. I was told it was about 3 months old. It is absolutley adorable! I will post some pics soon. I want to give it a little time to settle in.

The baby is still small right now, so they need more high calorie food like bugs and turtle food, basically protein food, than veggies and fruits. They do better with protein food right now because plants take an awful long time and a lot of energy to digest, and with them being so small, they don't have much energy reserve (fat) like the larger ones do. But don't over do it either. Just introduce the veggies and fruits in-between each feeding of bugs and other stuff. Hope this helps!
