My son's African Leopard Tortoise passed away. He was about 6 months old. Might it be possible for the vet to do a necropsy?

Necropsy's can be done shortly after death. for best results the animal should be examined with in a few hours of death. Refrigerating the animal will help. Freezing can cause problems with results, but information can still be learned.
