I found this picture online. Can't seem to find it any larger, unfortunately. But I really would like to know what kind of viper this is. I'm pretty sure it's a viper, anyway. I know it's venomous.

By the way, I found the image a long time ago.
(Bothrops schlegeli)....they can be highly variable and can come in a myriad of different color and pattern varieties.
These neo=tropical pit viper's range from from southern Mexico, south through Central America into Colombia, Ecuador and western Venezuela.
Here is one of the "Golden" variety.

But do you have any idea what specific type of eyelash viper this is? I love the colors of it, and would like to find more pictures.
Although it is a viper, and it does have "eyelashes", this is not an eyelash viper (Bothriechis). In fact, it isn't even from the new world.
It is a Horned Bush Viper (Atheris ceratophora). That's why you couldn't find a schlegeli that looked like this.

Looks like a viper from Africa,not sure about the name tho.It's something like Mussambara! Jeff
