Hi,

I just got a pair of cb 2009 Eunectes murinus. They are around 1 meter. My plan is to get them as "tame" or in other words used to handling as possible. Should I handle them every day for a few minutes or will it cause too much stress ? Would it be better to leave them alone and just handle them once a week or so ?

Regards
Martin

I would suggest that you get them settled in their new environment. Once they are feeding regularly and seem to be on track I would start with brief handling periods and work your way up. It is a good idea to start them young as you are doing.
