I thought I would show a couple of pictures of my Anaconda getting closer to giving birth. I'm not sure when she will drop but I expect within the next three weeks. She is laying more stretched out and tilted a little of center lately. This is the same female that produced the group of third generation young two years ago. Thanks for looking. Jud McClanahan

She looks great. Thanks for sharing. Can you give us a few stats? How big is she? How old? Is this the first time around for her? Do you typically provide a secluded area for your females to drop the babies?

Karl, Thanks for responding. This is a female I held back from the first litter Kelly Haller and I produced in 2001. She is close to 14 feet and was just over 100 pounds prior to breeding. Two years ago she produced 28 young which were the 3rd generation. She gives birth on the cage floor covered with newspaper. Thanks. Jud

..Please be generous posting pics when she gives birth, its such a rare occurence in captivity.
