I picked up 1.1 2010 coxi from Pro Exotics at the Tinley show.

They are beautiful animals.

I have them both in a 20 gallon long tank with newspaper covered by cypress mulch. I have a UTH set very low (79) for heat in one corner. The room temp is 70 and will be dropping to 65 during winter. I am misting daily and the humidity is 80-90.
Got a warm and cool hide but they have not used them and prefer to wiggle under the newspaper.

I will try feeding them in a couple days. I raise ASF rats and will start with ASF pinkies.

I would appreciate any commnts about this setup including criticism. And FWIW I did tell the vendor I would like to cohab initially until they got a little size on them and he thought that it would be OK and that they are doing this also.

Thanks

ASF rats are african soft fur rats. Very easy to breed with minimal odor and my snakes love them.

My coxi are 2010 and just hit the 35 gm mark so I will not be breeding for awhile.

Since you are a successful breeder could you share the specifics on your brumation.

Thanks
