Mazuri Tortoise Diet

SandBoaMorphs Oct 19, 2010 01:16 PM

I have read positive and negatives about the Mazuri tortoise diet for Sulcata's.

Some say to feed it to the babies almost exclusively for the first year. Some say not to feed it at all.

Some say supplement feed juveniles for years 2-5 with it, some say not at all.

Would love to hear from folks who have experience with it and how to use it effectively.

Thanks

We feed mazuri about once per week. We have them on an acre of pasture so it is no really necessary. We have a few smaller tortoises where we use it as their principal diet. We have no problems in either scenario.
