Para Zap Results

Moonstone Nov 11, 2010 06:01 PM

Well after a full course of treatment of Para Zap, preceded by a vet administered fecal and a follow up fecal, in my opinion the product is worthless. A call from my vet today confirmed that in fact the coccidia and pin worm levels were the same, exactly the same, as the fecal done before treatment. I am going to drug treatment now, which I hoped to avoid.

There is my take on Para Zap.

Good to know, thanks for posting results.

Parazap was never intended as a treatment for parasites so it is no surprise it did nothing to reduce numbers of parasites already present. What it is intended to do is act as an appetite stimulant and probiotic to help keep beneficial bacteria levels high, which help prevent flareups. It is not a cure.

That is not what the product advertisements or the paperwork included with the product said. It specifically give you treatment and prevention regimes for their product.

Pretty sure way back when the product first came out it was more advertised as a preventative then an all natural 'cure'... but its been about 10 or so years since I first heard of parazap. I think it was B22 who first mentioned it here...but again, I could be wrong. For myself I always assumed it was advertised as a preventative..but maybe they changed their marketing or it was generatally used as a preventative more than anything.

Interesting results. I've had better luck with it. I guess testing on a larger sample size is necessary.

The fact that the second fecal was exactly the same as the first makes me unwilling to waste any more time on it. Had it gone down a little, or if there was a dramatic change in appetite, maybe.
