Well I finally figured out how to upload pics. Heres the newest member,... Lucky ! I know the pics arent the greatest( still working on those photography skills lol) I am thinking yellow dodoma,...but welcome any input. Thanks,Ken

It does look to have some dodoma in it, but without info from the breeder it is impossible to know. Looks to be a boy?
Nice looking snake. Maybe a bit on the thin side.

yep its a boy and ya hes a bit on the thin side. I am still hoping for some more info on his genetics
I think the first animal is actually 87.4% rufescens, but close enough.
Seriously, what does 88% rufescens mean?
-----
Mark
The percentage is important for understanding how much of the original 'rufescens' blood is in the animal. The sire to these babies was a pure (100%) rufescens purchased several years back. He was a baby produced from the original pair. The dame was a 75% rufescens that was purchased at the same time.
Unfortunately, most people don't keep good records of where their animals come from and a lot of animals sold as 'pure' are NOT. Most dealers now consider anything that is solid colored (or nearly so) to be pure. I still use the percentages because I know the history of my animals. Is it important? Only to some people.
Just my 2 cents,

Ahh, I wondered if you meant percentage of brown covering or a genetic percentage.
If you were to breed two of those "88%" animals together, what would the outcome be?

Mark
Mark-
I guess a 88% cross would result in ~77% offspring? You definitely lose some of the rufescens blood.
As far as the morphs go.... I know 12.5% stripes exist.
Cheers,
Chris
