Wagler's Vipers

Anyone on here keep these? Just picked up an adult female that is rocking looking, and I'm just curious how often to feed her? I've read conflicting accounts, but it does seem that more people are leaning towards one meal, then wait for defecation before the next meal...just wanting to compare notes.

That was actually the basis for a good deal of my previous research...just looking for personal experience from others to see if there's any variance. Thanks though!

Keep them very humid, but not in constant contact with wetness. You will probably need to spray them a couple of times a week to get them to drink, and they must stay well hydrated (think of them more like amphibians). Feed infrequently, as they have a slow metabolism. Also good to set up a rain chamber and at least once per month let them get rained on with luke-warm water for a while (30 minutes) to stimulate defecation. Actually not a great beginners tree viper, so do your research and don't neglect hydration!
