Has anyone had any experience with Dryodophis Cliftoni?
I had one long ago that was captured near El Palmito, Sinaloa, Mexico, and it was an excelent captive. Seemed to be very inteligent and easy to keep. Info seems to be scarce to none at all. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dryadophis cliftoni. Clifton's Barred racer. The only one I ever saw was on exhibit at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum back in the 1980's. I knew the staff and was permitted to photograph it through the lid of its cage from inside the keeper's run. Fascinating animal. ASDM never did manage to pair it up, and around that time, Mexico began enforcing strict export regulations, so there was no opportunity to look for more. That snake lived for several years on exhibit. I have the photo somewhere...I'll see if I can scan it and post it. It's a head shot--the full body was seldom in view all at once. The snake was expert at keeping part of itself out of sight.

I don't have any details as to captive maintenance.
