I need advice

I have a nice little extra male bci het albino and posted him up on craigslist.Someone has offered me a trade for red blood python..I am considering it mostly because I have never had a blood and honestly have never even seen one in person.
Are they overly aggressive?.Is the care similiar to boas and balls? Would a 4x2x1 be good for an adult?
I think they look like overstuffed sausages but at the same time there is something intriguing and different about them(definitly not your average ball python)
Do you think its a good trade?

Trades are hard to value equality. Generally speaking, the trade is reasonable if the blood is healthy and well tempered. Stress management is key with any snake and bloods are especially dynamic in that right. Keep them healthy and happy and generally speaking, they will be good to you. Fail them and they will not reward you. The cage is fine for an adult. Temps do not need to vary throughout the year. Keep them at around 82-84F and keep fresh water in a large dog bowl available to them always. They hate it if the water isn't clean so keep it fresh.

Good luck.

I went ahead and made the trade.Mostly because I find these pythons incredibly interesting. This one is young at around 4 mnths the guy only had her 6 weeks and realized he was afraid of her.She is defensive but also in blue right now.
I know what Ive gotten myself into(at least i hope so) we shall see how it works out.I cant wait till she sheds out so I can get some pics and post them. For now she is in a bin with newspaper, easier to keep humidity levels up through our dry winters.

whether or not its a good trade is dependant on many things. What are you looking for ? Why is someone wanting to trade that animal for yours? I would get a good look at this blood before trading. Bloods are individuals(as most animals are) I have some blood pythons that are a pleasure to hold and I have some that are complete terrors. That size cage is fine for a blood. Bloods are very lazy and for the most part don't move much. they are ambush hunters--not like the Bci which sometimes actively hunts. I personally love bloods they are some of the most fascinating snakes I have owned. hope this helps you
