Yellow blood pythons.....

Kelly_Haller Nov 20, 2010 09:58 PM

Just something I thought about when looking at the classifieds. I don't know how many times I've seen light brown or tan P. brongersmai called yellow blood pythons on the forums or in the classifieds. Very rarely are these actually yellows. However, if anyone would like to see a photo of an actual yellow blood, see the ad by Ben Siegel in the python classifieds. This is a "true" yellow blood python in my opinion.

I have that one bookmarked, and it's definitely yellow.

This is a yellow line I am working on-it is from my original yellow animals bred to a "hypo" yellow we call the "Pale Gray" which is a proven recessive. I'm pretty excited about these. I also have some yellow t+ albinos which are fabulous and really glow-I need to take some new pics. I haven't done yellows in a while but this year with the Pale Gray project we produced some nice babies.

Tracy,
Thanks much for posting the photos of your yellows, they are truly exceptional. With your yellow to yellow breedings, do you see an unusually high percentage of yellow offspring, or do you still see the spectrum of color variety typical of the species.
