Interview req: Bitten by Coral Snake?

katiedrummond Nov 23, 2010 09:26 AM

Hi Everyone:

I'm a journalist in NYC working on a story about coral snakes for a national publication.

I'd like to speak to someone who has encountered one of the snakes, and might be able to tell me about their experience and their recovery from the bite.

Please email me: katie.drummond@thedaily.com

Thanks in advance!
Katie

I suggest you contact Miami Metro Dade Fire Department's Venom One team. They might have the info you are looking for. Coral snake bites are so rare, I can't remember when the last one was.
