Best temperate climate Lizards?

LightElf Nov 26, 2010 08:25 AM

I was wondering what's the more intelligent (best as a pet) lizard that doesn't require the intense heat and humidity as the best lizards do (monitors, bearded dragons, iguanas, blue tongue skinks etc)

All lizards need a heat source to warm up with and digest their food. Tuataras don't, but techincally they are not lizards. There are several that can be taken out of their environment for handling. You have already named several. I would add water dragons, and plated lizards to that list.
