darkenism Nov 27, 2010 11:22 AM

I have a baby dragon I got from petsmart...turns out he is sick(i dont know what from, but he had a lot of diarhea) and very dehydrated.
I have been soaking him in warm water baths and trying to give him some water in a baby medicine syringe. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO OR GIVE HIM TO HELP SAVE HIM? PLEASE HELP!!

Can you post a picture?

How is he acting? Is he eating?

What are his current temps?

How long/heavy is he?

Go buy so childrens Pedialyte (original flavor). You can get this from anywhere like Walmart or Walgreens. Soak him and this will replace the electrolyes he has lost from the diarrhea. Make sure his temps are good.

The only thing you can really do is take him to a knowledgable vet.

Let us know how things are going

Sorry for the loss. Pet store captive conditions are usually less than ideal, being housed in such conditions lead to a sick or weak lizard. There are a plethora of good breeders around this forum, I would try them next round.
