ETB tail slapping

tomcovert Nov 29, 2010 09:24 PM

Tonite I was misting my female emerald and she started slapping her tail around her perch and side of the cage. She didnt seem distressed or upset (she usally nips or hisses when shes mad). I was wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour before or why she would do it?

ETBs do not caudal lure as do GTPs. They slap their tail when they are annoyed.
