I was misting my female emerald and she started slapping her tail around her perch and side of the cage. She didnt seem distressed or upset (she usally nips or hisses when shes mad). I was wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour before or why she would do it?

Maybe but i keep the jugs of water in my 80 degree herp room. But if it is sign of her being pissy i like that better then her half inch teeth in my hand lol.

haha i hear that. I've had some of mine do the tail wag once or twice, seemed like it was when i disturbed them in some form or fashion. luckily i can handle all mine and they haven't tried to bite me yet lol
