What age is a female sand boa ready to be bred, or is that determined by weight? How many females can a male sand boa cover in breeding season?

My females usually breed at 3-4 years old and >250 grams. It is possible to get a female up to weight faster, but I try to avoid doing so. I have had males breed at < 1 year and ~40 grams.

I have had males successfully breed 3 females. Never tried more though.

You can get a female to 250 in about 2 1/2 years....depending on the snakes cooperation.

Good rule of thumb is 3 years to breed for females.
