Hello everyone, hope nobody minds this isnt tort related, but I figured people on this forum will know. I am taking my family to San Diago this winter and planning our time. Is one day in the zoo to mope around with 3 kids and see everything enough time or allow two days? Any other family oriented things we should do other than Sea World you would recommend? Thanks for any input and advice!

I think it depends on what your expectations are. I would recommend at least one day at the Zoo and one day at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. That is, of course, assuming you don't mind spending a longish day in both locales. Better yet, plan on three to cover both parks....

Thanks for the info, I was asking because the park offers a 2 day pass for both parks or a 5 day pass that includes sea world also. Just trying to plan time accordingly which never works out for me anyway!

I think you should be able to do each park in one day. If you go to Sea World on the weekend and they are having the Shamu Rocks show make sure to stay for it. My son is one of the guitar players. Also if you have time Balboa Park which is right next to the Zoo has some nice museums. Favorites are the Natural History, Space theater/science center and Museum of Man. If no time for the museums it is nice just walking around the park. Also it is about a 45 minute drive from the zoo area of town to the Wild Animal park.
