My husband brought home a cactus and out poped a horned lizard baby!!! about 1 inch long he is in a 50 gallaon aquarium with sand, tree bark rocks. i have a uva/uvb light and a red heat light. He also has a watering hole i created for him with rocks in it(put rain water or distilled water only) have put harvester ants from ants alive and crickets he has not eaten them!!! i have observed him eating these tiny bugs from the tree bark.
today he has been lying around with no interest in the bugs or meal worm. found him lying in his pool sitting on a rock the other day. he sits with his eyes closed!!! what can i do for this little guy??? I can't understand why he won't eat the ants even the tiny ones!!!

You can also try feeding flyless fruit flies and pinhead crickets available overnight from LLLreptile
