Blue tongue skinks and fish/seafood

Why is it that I see some caresheets that say you shouldn't feed blue tongue skinks fish or any other seafood? I haven't thus far seen any reason explained for it, just "don't feed seafood". I haven't yet fed mine any but there are also people saying that it is ok. Does anybody know?
