LMAO That's a funny shot. Looks like Pablo is bowing before the great snake god.
It does look like that carpet could easily eat Pablo though, nice looking animal, Pablo too.
Merry Christmas.

There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. The ignorant can be taught, stupidity is beyond our control.

Uhmmm, that snake eats rats bigger than Pablo!
I took a couple separate shots and Gimp'ed them together to make this photo- it's not real.
However, I did post the pic on Facebook for my daughter to see the night she went out- got a GREAT reactionary post from her! LOL!

The snake is beautiful.
The photo itself is in bad taste. Whenever I have my 7 foot JCP out I make sure no cats or dogs are near him. I dont' care how calm he is around them. An I sure would never put one of them IN with the python!
You DO realize that was "photo-shopped"?
ROFL!
No- clearly he/she doesn't!
..and for the record, I don't use Photoshop. I use the GIMP!
//Todd
I don't think it's bad that you used GIMP instead of Photoshop, although the latter is much better. I do however find it irresponsible to make a photo manipulation portraying a small dog in a large python enclosure, because people will blow it out of proportion, will say that it is real and will attach a sensationalistic story to it and just give us herpers another bad rap......

Go ahead.....bash me all you want. I still say its in bad taste.
Nobody is bashing anybody.
Since when does being a responsible keeper mean you have to do away with your sense of humor?
Maybe I was wrong in posting this obviously shopped photo here, where the majority of people don't know me. Those that do know me know that I'd never, in a million years actually do anything like this.
However, for those that do know me, know that I am one of those very responsible keepers, and actively educate people that would otherwise like to see anything that moves without legs dead. I also go out of my way, at my expense, to remove/relocate any/all snakes in my community that would otherwise be chopped in half, again, at the same time, educate the people I come in contact with.
The photo was created with 2 separate photos of the snake and dog, in different rooms at different times. My daughters boyfriend and I came up with the idea entirely to prank my daughter while she was out with friends.

Hey Todd, I agree, but that wasn't my point. The idiot factor can and will come into play. You could have the most authentic photo on the internet and someone will say Photoshop, where you could have the most poorly done Photoshopped photo on the internet and people will think it's real....

Yup- agreed.
It's a sad time we live in these days when we have to fight so hard to continue doing what we have been and love to do because of the misconceptions and ignorance of people out there with nothing better to do with their time...
Happy Holidays!

I know, I know- bad taste again, but I can wish, can't I???
