Camera Help !!!!!!

sandboaken Dec 25, 2010 05:33 AM

Merry Xmas everyone! I hope some of the sand boa and rosy lovers on here can help out a fellow herper. I want to start practicing taking pics of my sand boas. Now before I go any further,... I am one of the worst picture takers in the history of mankind! And I know nothing about cameras other than they flash, have a big button to push, and confuse me! My questions are as follows:

what would be a good entry level camera for someone with my lack of experience?

the only reason I have for getting a camera is to photog my sand boas. not vacation,or the gf or sunsets... Just sand boas

I dont want to spend 3 grand on a fancy elaborate setup. I am hoping to find a camera I can start with and continue with.

So PLEASE ,... after you finish laughing about my post, please drop a comment or two( or thirty) to help a guy out !!! Thanks,Ken

Pretty much all of the cameras on the market these days can take nice photos. If you want to shoot photos of animals I would make sure the camera has "Macro mode" and maybe even "Super Marco". I am partial to Nikon myself.

Best of luck,
Chris
