What is the proper burmation temp is a better question. Why would you want to burmate at the high end, or low end of the temp gradient? The high end will allow for more calories to be burned durring the burmation. To cold and you risk respitory infections.

The proper temp is debatable and reletive to the time spent in burmation. I burmate 70 days at 65 degrees.
